It felt like it was truly never going to happen - there were so many hurdles to climb over before the plaster could be hung to make our walls! But here it is....
But we finally have walls.... the walls went up in a day, and the cornices are now being finished off just like icing on the cake...

The feature on the doorway was a last minute addition when drawing up the plans, and I am so happy we did it.

I am trying my hardest to embrace and every moment, enjoy the process and love it for what it is ; otherwise the wait would drive me crazy...

ReplyDeleteOh me, oh my. I am finding myself sitting here gasping at the loveliness of it all!!! So many beautiful vistas, so many wonderful surprises around each corner....the butler's pantry...the glass free shower (!) and the girls playroom opening to the joy of outside...oh wow....
