The wood fire has been installed and ready to light the installer tells me!
Mr right will now built the rest of the surround ready to be plastered up on Monday.
We played with a number of different ideas - fireplace and tv side by side but not enough room! So we have decided that the tv will be mounted above the fire. I still haven't decided on the cladding - stone, plaster and painted or concrete pavers. And we are yet to make a decision about mantle or not....
I have always loved the stone surround but I'm not sure that with the tv above and mantle it could look too busy...
We have decided to wait and wing it
What would you do?
The only other furniture in this room will be our big latte colored king furniture u shaped couch and a coffee table I think......
As you can see - the insulation has also been put in....

Just fabulous. I can just imagine how comforting it is going to be sitting in front of that woodburner, looking out the windows at your rolling hills....you are so very lucky!!

Thanks MB i have emailed for some photos! Thanks :) I am a little sad that when we move in it wont be cold any more - so ill have to wait a little for the fire experience.....
